I am doing so much reading lately … And I have been loving it. I have become a big fan of the Kobo reader. For me, having my phone with me all the time means that in my pocket I can carry a collection of books for whenever I get a moment to have a read. It is this flexibility that has given me the opportunity to make the most of time and keep the pages turning.
At the moment I am reading Happily Ever After by Benison Anne O’Reilly . I am about half way through the book and I am really enjoying it. I think it’s is smart contemporary fiction for real women. It is really funny, sad and thought provoking … It is just the perfect book to read when you have a spare moment to yourself and a cupe of coffee. Even if that is in the midddle of the night. It would be a great book to read with some girlfriends.
What is it about … ??
Ellie Cooper is a smart blonde with a successful career and a finely tuned eye for human weakness. But that dosen’t stop her from falling for the worst of romantic clichés – a fairytale wedding to her very own Prince Charming. Unfortunately those old fairytales provide no instruction for married life and Ellie’s marriage – and new husband, Tony – prove to be a lot more complicated than she bargained for. Can Ellie and Tony survive their troubles, or should Ellie cut her losses and look elsewhere for love? Only our heroine can make that choice……But will it be the right one?
I also have my next book lined up … It is When Horse Became Saw: A Family’s Journey Through Autism by Anthony Macris. I am looking forward to reading this. It might be a little close to home but I am looking forward to reading about another families experience.
What are you reading? Have you read something recently that you really liked … Or even hated? I would love to know what you have that is keeping your pages turning
