This week I am grateful for my husband and the wonderful choc-chip cookies that he loves to make. LittleMan … who also has the alias as the baked goods bandit … loves them. He just can’t be trusted to be around them without supervision (of the cookies) … and even then it is not guaranteed. LittleMiss is also a huge fan. And so is this Mamma. He has made 2 batches on the weekend and the smell of cookies is again wafting throughout the house … hmmm… love cookies.
Joining Maxabella loves…. in this weeks I’m grateful for…

Oh nothing better than warm choc chip cookies just out of the oven. Guess what we’ll be doing tomorrow now??

You are so fortunate to have someone to cook choc chip cookies for you!

PS – isn’t it funny how we’ve embraced the American word ‘cookie’ when it comes to the choc chip variety. Everything else is still a biscuit to me… x
Yuuuum… both the cookies and the fact that your husbie baked them. LOVE a baking man! x

Recipe please! Am still in search of the ideal recipe. Love that your hubby cooks them. Your blog is looking great. Would love to chat about Blogopolis one day.

Oh, you are so lucky… My hubby usually cooks steaks. I’d much rather have some cookies.

I am really lucky. He loves to cook. Usually he is more the main course style of cook and I am the desert/baking one … but he has now started to voyage into the baking domain. The kids love it.

I would love to share the recipe .. but he won’t even share it with me (very naughty as I gave him my baking ones).
We will have to organise a catch up on blogs and stuff. Are you going to Digital Parents Unplugged?

I have never really thought about it but I guess you are right. I know there are some things I think of as biscuits and others as cookies. I am not sure if there is any culinary difference .. hmmm something to ponder.

Sounds like a good idea. The only problem is once you start baking it then becomes a regular thing … or at least the want for them 🙂
