This week I have discovered a hilarious black comedy … Death at a Funeral. I was laughing myself silly throughout it. It perfect example of the best of crazy British ensemble comedy … what is it about … well after the unexpected death of the patriarch of the family all the family is pulled together for his funeral. However soon, every complication imaginable — including the wrong corpse in the coffin, the accidental consumption of hallucinogenic drugs, and the disclosure of the deceased’s closeted homosexuality — befall the grief-stricken mourners. Great script, great directing, great acting … great film.
While watching it I just could not help but wonder how much fun the cast must have had in making the film … and then I found the outtakes … enjoy
