We have … in the last few weeks been adopted. And I mean that it has been something that they have chosen to do (not that I am not a willing participant 🙂 ) but I think all of the decision making … well up until this point have been on their side. Anyway we have been adopted by a family of cats … a mummy puss and her beautiful 4 kittens. Mamma is white with orange, grey and black markings … and she has one white and orange kitten, one white and grey kitten, one white and black kitten and one that looks just like her. They are wonderful.
Since they have been visiting I have been feeding them. Yes I know it is wrong … but when they first found us she was just so thin and her coat just looked so bad. I don’t think she was coping very well. Now a few weeks later she is looking so much better. She looks so nice and healthy and she is not as skiterish as she was in the beginning. Not that she is willing to let me come near to pat her … but she will let me sit inside behind the window and she likes it when I sit and talk to her while her brood eat.
So what is the plan … well I plan on catching them and then finding them all good homes .. including Mamma Pus. But I have to catch them first. I have found a place that has feral cat humane catching systems that do not hurt them at all … they don’t touch them at all. And that is the plan so far … as my other attempts could almost be good enough to go into a cartoon. I am sure that this story will have more to follow. Keep posted …
