Hmmm … a friend of mine suggested that I watch a few interesting clips on YouTube recently that provide a glimpse into the process of the creation of a production of Henry IV Part One. I was eager to look at the them as I remember with a strange amount of fondness for that particular play … Being the one that I was required to study for HSC English, you would think that I would hate it … but no. I really enjoy it and it was interesting to watch as the two fine actors (Michael Gambon and Matthew Macfadyen) with the director (Nicholas Hytner) rehearse and workshop the play … I wish I could have seen this on the stage. It looks like it was a great production.
