I have found an Australian business and product that I have fallen in love with … Keepcup. My husband bought one for both of us recently from Campos Coffee and I have been using it all the time. It is just perfect for when you go to the park with kids (whether you bring your own coffee or buy one from a store) or in the car.
So what is a KeepCup?
KeepCup is the first barista standard reusable coffee up. The KeepCup is a practical lidded travel cup that replicates standard takeaway sizes and fits under the group heads of espresso machines. They are lightweight, dishwasher safe, microwaveable and splashproof. They have a sealable lid and sipper hole and are good to drink from with the lid on or off. KeepCups fit into most car cup holders and many bicycle bottle holders … and pram cup holders too.
They come in 3 sizes and if you buy them directly can be customized in a range of colours. Also companies, cafes and charities can have them customized to meet branding requirements and be used either for marketing or fundraising.
So where are KeepCups made ?
Keep Cups currently manufactured in Victoria, Australia. However they have plans to add local manufacturing hubs in USA and Europe once volume targets have been reached.
The bands are manufactured and printed in China.
How can I get a KeeCup ?
You can buy them directly from KeepCup or from some cafes and roasteries like Campos and Toby’s Estate.
