That’s really clever, I like that photo/story board 🙂
Really brings home the isolation it must entail to be inside so much.

That looks so effective. Fabulous. Great idea for a Wordless Wednesday! 🙂
I like the way your page reflects a person looking out. Does he do that? Or is it just you? Thanks for Rewinding. I love the perspective that you bring x
Thanks!
We have been doing ABA therapy now for over 1.5 years and have about the same to go. It is so intensive and involves over 25 hours of face-to-face therapy a week … I guess I just wanted to vent my exhaustion and frustration. I am glad you liked it.
Thanks!

Thank you!!
Hmmm really interesting question.
For me … well it is definitely true. I guess for me the outside represents a ‘typical childhood’ or ‘normality’. A life without behavioural therapy, speech therapy .. doctors appointments etc. A life with ‘typical’ challenges, problems and concerns … where I could work fulltime and my kids could play and have a uncomplicated childhood with friends and laughter.
For him … I think he misses playing outside sometimes. We try and incorporate outside play into his therapy. The team can use the backyard and we try in the warmer months to incorporate things like water play and other activities. We also go to the park with therapy about once a month.
Thanks for visiting and getting me to reflect further on this.
