I am of an age that I grew up hearing about Watergate … and I think you would have to live under a rock even today to not be aware of even just the superficial rippals of Watergate both on American democracy, politics and media … but on the world. Even simply the fact that every scandal seems to have the suffix “gate”. I don’t know as a kid the number of times I have seen “All The President’s Men“. As I grew older I read the book by Berstein and Woodward and other books including books on the tapes however what I was not aware of was the interviews completed by David Frost with Richard Nixon in 1977. Recently I watched Frost/Nixon … what an amazing film and it made me go and watch the actual interviews. The complete Frotst/Nixon Watergate interview is available on Youtube (and I have included them below). If you enjoyed the film (or play) or have an interest in Nixon and Watergate or just poltics … watching the actual interviews is worth it. I know some people may not think that this is relevant for today. However I disagree … what do you think?
